Ground Beef Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 300 gram lean ground beef
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp chili powder or flakes
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 dl yogurt (thick)
  • 200 gram green beans (pieces)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp cilantro or parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp oil

Equipment

  • frying pan

Method
 

  1. Fry onion in oil for approx. 5 minutes. Add the ground beef and fry the mince, stirring with a spatula to loosen it for 5 minutes. Add the ginger, garlic, cinnamon, chili powder or flakes, curry and yogurt. Stir and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. In the mean time boil the green beans with salt al dente. Drain and add to the beef mixture. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle it with some cilantro or parsley!
  3. Delicious on a artisan or ciabatta bun!
